Evaluating China tours in general and Guangxi tours in particular, Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong - General Director of Trang An International Tourism Company Limited said that Chinese tourism products are chosen by many tourists instead of domestic tours which are currently being pushed up in price due to the influence of airfares.
“During the summer, tourists tend to look for resort destinations, especially beautiful beaches such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, etc. This year, due to the impact of airfare prices, tour prices have also been pushed up. For a 3-4 day trip, domestic tour prices will range from 9-10 million VND, including airfare. However, for overland tours to China such as the Beihai - Nanning - Thai Binh Ancient Town tour, the cost is only about 4-6 million VND,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong.
According to Mr. Cuong, China road tours are currently loved and interested by many tourists because of the low cost, attractive schedule, and the convenience of traveling by car. Moreover, when participating in these tours, tourists can experience modern transportation infrastructure in the world that Vietnam does not have. Typically, when traveling from Beihai to Nanning, tourists can choose a round-trip high-speed train, with an average speed of 250-300km/h.
