All three major routes 769, 773, 770B have the role of connecting to Long Thanh airport but have not yet started.
On February 12, Mr. Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with units and localities on the progress of implementing key traffic projects including provincial roads 769, 773, 770B.
Long Thanh Airport is expected to be basically completed by the end of 2025, so the role of connecting routes is very important.
Reporting at the meeting, the leader of the Department of Transport said that all three projects have a total investment of more than 18,000 billion VND, assigned to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.
Of which, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has approved investment of 6,200 billion VND for Road 769. At the same time, it has also approved the feasibility study report for the project of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance with a total recovered land area of over 134 hectares, resettling about 996 households.
The entire route is nearly 30km long, starting at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay (Thong Nhat) intersection. The end point is at the intersection with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh district.
In January 2025, the Department of Planning and Investment again issued a document allocating capital for the period 2026-2030. However, because this is an important route, the investor proposed that the competent authority allocate capital in 2025 to organize the selection of consultants to implement the construction design after the basic design.
Dong Nai provincial leaders worked with the Department of Transport and related units on the progress of the road connecting Long Thanh airport.
Regarding the project to upgrade and expand provincial road 773 (total investment of 4,300 billion VND), on February 4, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province approved the feasibility study report for the compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance project with a total cost of 1,700 billion VND.
According to the plan, the 773 road will be expanded and upgraded to be 39km long, starting at the intersection with National Highway 1A in Xuan Tam Commune, Xuan Loc District and ending at Huong Lo 10 at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, with a scale of 6 to 8 lanes. Construction is expected to start in 2025 and be completed after two years of construction.
For the provincial road 770B construction project, the investor has implemented investment procedure steps but is facing some difficulties because the related planning has not been adjusted synchronously.
Road 770B has an investment of more than 8,000 billion VND, has 4-8 lanes, from Dinh Quan district to Long Thanh district, the project implementation time is until 2027. The route is more than 42km long, starting at the intersection with DT 763 road in Suoi Nho commune, Dinh Quan district and ending at the intersection with National Highway 51 in Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district.
Mr. Ho Van Ha requested the investor to rebuild the critical path for project implementation. In particular, it is necessary to clearly state the individuals and units performing each specific task in order to clearly indicate the person and the task to focus on rapid implementation.
