VFF representatives attending the ceremony included Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the Referee Board, Mr. Vo Quang Vinh - Deputy Head of the Referee Board, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy General Secretary, Ms. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao - Head of the Competition Organization Department, Mr. Le Manh Ha - Deputy Head of the Referee Operations Department, representatives of several VFF functional departments, 35 match supervisors, 12 referee supervisors and 45 referees and assistant referees.
On behalf of the VFF leadership, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Deputy General Secretary delivered the opening speech, welcoming all match supervisors, referee supervisors and referees present at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, participating in training before the new 2025 season.
Ms. Ha shared: "In the coming days, everyone will be updated with new knowledge from the lecturers. I hope that the referee supervisors and referees will gain a lot of experience and exchange information continuously. VFF requests that supervisors and referees fully attend the training program. We understand the difficulties of supervisors and referees in the process of performing their duties, VFF will provide maximum support so that everyone can complete their tasks. VFF requests that the training organizers create all conditions in terms of facilities and expertise for the members."
In preparation for the new season, the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025 was held from December 16 to December 20. Yesterday afternoon (December 16), at the Hanoi Athletics Palace, a physical fitness test was conducted for the referees participating in the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national football tournaments in 2025. As a result, 100% of the referees completed this important content. Specifically, 45 referees (23 referees and 22 assistant referees) passed the physical fitness test under the direction and evaluation of the members of the VFF Referee Board.
Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the VFF Referee Board expects: "The supervisors and referees are preparing for the new season of 2025. As Head of the Referee Board, I would like to thank the supervisors and referees for actively participating and supporting the VFF in successfully operating the system from professional to non-professional tournaments. This training course welcomes 2 new referee supervisors and many new faces to supervise the matches. I hope that the members of the training course will be serious, increase research, and update the latest knowledge to have the best preparation for the upcoming season."
Immediately after the end of the training for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025, qualified supervisors and referees will be assigned to work in non-professional national tournaments in 2025, the earliest of which is the qualifying round of the 2024-2025 National U.19 Championship, which will officially open on December 22 in the host localities, followed by the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament.
