Van Yen achieved 93% of the forest planting plan.

Accordingly, Van Yen successfully organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival - Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" in Mau Dong commune. Up to now, the district has planted 2,605/2,800 hectares of forest, equal to 93% of the plan. Of which: cinnamon trees 2,263 hectares, other forestry trees 342 hectares.

The district also focused on doing a good job of forest management, protection, and forest fire prevention and fighting; integrating the organization of 8 conferences to disseminate the Forestry Law and related documents with 607 participants. Thereby, in the first quarter of 2025, the whole district had no violations of the Forestry Law and no forest fires.

Along with the spring forest planting work, since the beginning of the year, Van Yen has exploited 59,600/170,000 m3 of various types of planted forest wood, equal to 35.1% of the 2025 plan. Enterprises in the district maintain 10,357.15 hectares with organic cinnamon certificates from previous years (including new issuance and re-evaluation).
