Yen Bai organizes thematic exhibition "Yen Bai province - 125 years of construction and development"

The thematic exhibition introduced over 200 images, documents, scientific documents, and artifacts about Yen Bai from the feudal period to the present; the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Yen Bai province in the renovation process. In particular, the exhibition introduced a number of valuable documents, which are valuable documents in terms of research on the history of formation and development of Yen Bai province. These documents were researched and collected by the Provincial Museum to serve the exhibition to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the province's founding.

The exhibition consists of 3 parts: part 1 has the content "French colonialists invaded and ruled Yen Bai"; part 2: "The period of struggle for national independence and protection of the Fatherland"; part 3: "Yen Bai - The period of innovation, integration and development".

The documents and artifacts on display highlight the process of Yen Bai province from the time of the Hung Kings, through the period of Chinese domination, to when the French colonialists invaded and placed Yen Bai under the control of the military and mandarin forces. The milestone of April 11, 1900 played an important role when the Governor-General of Indochina issued a decree officially establishing Yen Bai province as a provincial-level administrative unit. During the period of fighting against foreign invaders, the people of all ethnic groups in Yen Bai affirmed their tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and steadfast will in the struggle for national independence. The Party Committee and the government of Yen Bai province faced countless difficulties and challenges, leading the revolutionary movement and overcoming the consequences of war, restoring and developing the economy and society.

Looking back on the 125-year history, Yen Bai is now "changing its skin" every day, from urban streets to remote villages, from lowlands to highlands, everywhere bears the mark of innovation, spaciousness, and the myriad of beautiful aspects of a heroic, friendly, dynamic, and rich-in-identity land. People have a more peaceful and happy life, firmly on the path of industrialization, modernization, integration, and development.

The thematic exhibition "Yen Bai Province - 125 years of construction and development" aims to widely propagate to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the historical significance, the process of struggle, construction and development of Yen Bai province over the past 125 years; educate the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary tradition; strengthen the belief of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party and the victory of the renovation cause.

The thematic exhibition "Yen Bai Province - 125 years of construction and development" will take place for 5 days, from April 10 to April 15, 2025.
