An Thi: Converting more than 767 hectares of ineffective rice land

Up to now, An Thi district has converted more than 767 hectares of ineffective rice land to fruit trees, livestock and aquaculture. The district has built and formed 14 concentrated fruit tree production areas in communes such as Ha Le, Da Loc, Cam Ninh...; mobilized the establishment of 15 cooperatives and cooperative groups in fruit tree development; supported the granting of VietGAP certification for 100 hectares of fruit trees...

Up to now, the converted areas have generated revenue of 350 - 600 million VND/ha/year.
