More than 1,613 billion VND for 35 new projects
According to the resolution on the planned public investment plan for 2025 of the Tam Ky City People's Council, the total investment capital for 2025 is 318 billion VND. Of which, the concentrated budget source is 18 billion VND, land use revenue is 300 billion VND (the province manages and regulates 50 billion VND, the city's land use revenue is 250 billion VND).
Based on the medium-term public investment plan and the expected capital investment capacity of the city budget in 2025, Tam Ky has identified 35 new project categories to start construction in 2025 with a total investment of more than 1,613 billion VND. In particular, the priority categories are projects that generate revenue for reinvestment in infrastructure, education, and projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland.
According to the leader of Tam Ky City People's Committee, in the new investment portfolio in 2025, projects related to economic activities account for a large proportion with 21 projects and 3 planning tasks, with a total investment of up to 1,314 billion VND; followed by education with 8 projects with 177 billion VND; culture, information, sports and physical training with 2 projects with 113 billion VND; national defense and security with 1 project worth 8.5 billion VND.
Regarding the plan to allocate public investment in 2025, the city prioritizes large resources for transitional projects, payment of volume with more than 163 billion VND; then for newly started projects 82 billion VND, completed projects awaiting settlement 20.5 billion VND and targeted supplement for communes and wards 50 billion VND.
In addition, 2 billion VND is allocated for investment preparation projects (about 30 investment preparation projects). According to the Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Duy An, the city's functional departments are urgently completing investment procedures for new projects starting in 2025, meeting the requirements according to regulations.
Many big projects
Through research, among the projects expected to start construction in 2025, there are many large-scale projects related to investment in completing urban infrastructure and residential and resettlement areas.
These include the project to complete N24 route (section from Huynh Thuc Khang - Dien Bien Phu) and resettlement area with a cost of over 304 billion VND; residential area - resettlement area south of An Phu ward 180 billion VND; Ban Thach riverside park 150 billion VND; infrastructure connection of My Tay residential area (area behind Ha Huy Tap High School) 78 billion VND; traffic infrastructure of Ngo Thi Nham street (section from the provincial Sports and Physical Training Center to the end of the lamp factory) 79 billion VND...
In addition, the city continues to pay attention to the investment program for education with 6 secondary and primary school projects to start construction in 2025; of which Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School will cost 34 billion VND and Nguyen Du Secondary School will cost 47 billion VND.
In particular, after Tran Cao Van High School, Tam Ky City continues to support investment in facilities for two high schools in the area, Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialized High School with 2 billion VND and Phan Boi Chau High School with 6 billion VND.
Notably in the field of sports and physical training, after many years of incubation, the Tam Ky City Sports and Physical Training Complex project has been approved for investment with an investment of 100 billion VND for phase 1, to be implemented during 2025 - 2028.
With the goal of serving the organization of sports events, promoting and developing the movement in the city, the project includes items such as an 11-a-side football field, an athletics track, a grandstand with more than 1,600 seats (installing a roof to cover the entire grandstand and seats in the central area), under the grandstand are arranged offices, technical rooms, toilets...
In addition, two projects of great significance to Tam Ky urban development are the anti-erosion embankment system, the Tam Ky riverside landscape road and the resettlement area with a total investment of 499 billion VND and the underground drainage ditch along Trung Nu Vuong street with a total investment of nearly 130 billion VND.
Specifically, the project to prevent landslides on the northern bank of Tam Ky River (from the new Tam Ky bridge to the old Tam Ky bridge) aims to contribute to completing the infrastructure, arranging the population in the area and creating a highlight for the urban landscape.
The underground drainage ditch along Trung Nu Vuong Street is considered an effective solution to solve the drainage problem and reduce flooding in Tam Ky's inner city area.
