VCCorp, the company that develops the "made in Vietnam" social network Lotus, has just officially introduced a new messaging service called Lotus Chat. This service aims to create a safer and more effective messaging environment for users, especially at work.
Faced with many leaks of personal information and user data through messaging applications, the Lotus Chat development team has made efforts to design features that proactively protect users, even those who are not tech-savvy.
Lotus Chat allows users to keep important information confidential when messaging with just a few simple steps. The feature of automatically deleting messages after the recipient has viewed them, preventing downloading or forwarding images helps prevent sensitive information from being leaked.
Users can use "aliases" to join strange chat groups without creating a new account, helping to avoid having their personal information "scrutinized" or being bothered.
The service also has a "private group" feature that prevents content from being forwarded or screenshotted, ensuring that information in group chats is always kept private.
Lotus Chat integrates effective work support features such as call recording, message marking, making communication and group work easier and faster, especially for those who participate in many chat groups at the same time.
Lotus Chat also comes with a storage facility, allowing users to back up and access data from any device, and share it easily when needed.
In particular, Lotus Chat integrates the "calendar reminder assistant" Lota, which helps remind meetings and work deadlines according to both the lunar and solar calendars. Users can chat directly or add Lota to a chat group to remind everyone.
Lotus Chat is currently available on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS platforms.
