Bulgaria's national news agency BTA reported on November 22 that the additional aid, including armored vehicles, was sent to Kiev immediately after being ratified by the country's parliament. The agreement was signed earlier by the Bulgarian Interior Ministry and the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

According to information from the Bulgarian Defense Committee, the armored vehicles sent to the Ukrainian battlefield have now been removed from the list of uses of the Bulgarian army.

"A package of aid including remote detonation systems and winter equipment was sent to Ukraine on November 22," the Lithuanian Defense Ministry wrote in a post on Twitter (X). In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry also confirmed the arrival of the aid package, thanking the ally for its persistent support.

In response, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense affirmed: "Our commitment to support Ukraine cannot be broken."

At the same time, North Macedonia also announced that the first group of Ukrainian soldiers had been successfully trained by the army of the Republic of North Macedonia. The information was shared by Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska with Macedonian Television on November 21.

"North Macedonia is ready to train Ukrainian soldiers until 2024, as long as they make an offer," Minister Petrovska added.

NATO member states have played a key role in the conflict in response to Russia’s military campaign since February last year. However, Ukraine has not yet become a member of the alliance.

In October, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg reiterated the bloc’s support for Ukraine during a phone call with NATO leaders, including US President Joe Biden. According to a NATO press release, the allies are sharing the burden of supporting Kiev fairly, with about half of the military aid coming from the US and the other half from European members and Canada.

According to reports published by many official sources, Ukraine has received nearly $100 billion in military aid since the conflict broke out.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned that Western support for Ukraine will only prolong and escalate the conflict without turning the situation around.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused the West of allowing Kiev to strike targets inside Russian territory, which is extremely dangerous and could potentially push the conflict to a new level.
