Honoring 32 outstanding young teachers of the capital in 2024

NDO - Within the framework of the Conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union and Youth Movement in the Capital's schools in the 2023-2024 school year, which took place on the afternoon of November 6, the City Youth Union and the Hanoi City Student Association honored outstanding and exemplary teachers in the cause of education and youth development.

Last school year, the “Youth Volunteer” movement continued to be the strength of the youth in the capital’s schools. Volunteer activities associated with the “3 links” policy were implemented clearly and effectively, demonstrating innovation and creativity.

Specifically, for the first time, the City Youth Union and the Hanoi Student Association organized the Launching Ceremony of the "Green Summer" Campaign, with the theme "Forever the Flame of Three Ready", sending 339 volunteer student teams straight to 31 provinces and cities across the country to carry out projects and tasks for the community. In addition, solutions to develop capacity and skills, supplement startup knowledge, create a supportive environment, and promote the entrepreneurial spirit for students are also promoted through a series of competitions such as: "Startup Launch Pad", "Smart Creative City Startup Challenge", "Future Blue Innovation 2024"...

In the 2023-2024 school year, the youth, students and pupils of the school sector will continue to promote the spirit of vanguard, taking the lead in supporting important political events and anniversaries of the capital and the country. Notably, there are a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, the 55th anniversary of implementing Uncle Ho's will, the 60th anniversary of the "Three Ready" movement; activities within the framework of the State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; volunteering to support people to stabilize their lives after storm No. 3...

Notably, the Party development work among students in the capital has also been promoted with the number of new party members in high schools increasing, accounting for nearly 47% of the total number of new party members in the entire school area.

Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's School Youth Department, Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Students Lam Tung and Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh (12th and 10th from left) presented the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit of the Central Youth Union to outstanding collectives and individuals.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded 8 emulation flags and certificates of merit to 94 groups and 103 individuals. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded emulation flags to 7 units, certificates of merit to 108 groups and 126 individuals. The Hanoi City Youth Union awarded emulation flags to 19 units, certificates of merit to 300 groups and 388 individuals. The Hanoi City Student Association awarded emulation flags to 19 units, certificates of merit to 117 groups and 129 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the work of the Association and the student movement.

Within the framework of the Conference, the Hanoi Youth Union honored and awarded the title of "Outstanding Young Teacher" at the city level in 2024 to 32 excellent teachers from universities, colleges, academies, and high schools in the capital, to honor their efforts and contributions in the education career, inspiring learning and research for the young generation.
