Quang Nam Youth launched the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

(QNO) - On the morning of May 30, in Duy Son commune (Duy Xuyen), Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and responded to World Environment Day on June 5.

The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign focuses on the 6 mountainous districts of Phuoc Son, Tay Giang, Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Dong Giang, Nam Giang; island communes, coastal communes and disadvantaged communes along Ho Chi Minh road; Thanh My Youth Village (Nam Giang).

In addition, districts, towns and city youth unions focus resources to support selected villages in Youth Month 2023 to complete the criteria for building new rural areas, model new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.

The new point in this year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is to focus on promoting synchronous digital transformation in all aspects of the Union's work and implementing the "3 links" policy in implementing the campaign's volunteer activities.

At the program, the Provincial Youth Union also launched the movement "Youth Union participates in sustainable poverty reduction" to promote the spirit of solidarity and strength of all levels of the provincial Youth Union in propaganda, raising awareness, arousing the will of self-reliance, promoting internal strength to escape poverty, and building a prosperous life for young people.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union, Quang Nam Young Entrepreneurs Club, and MB Bank Duy Xuyen presented 10 gifts to students in difficult circumstances and awarded symbols to youth projects "Lighting up the countryside with solar energy" and "Youth trees".

Immediately after the launching ceremony, many activities took place in Duy Son commune such as: construction of the self-managed youth road and the "Youth tree line" project; propaganda and instructions on installing and using the VNeID application; launching a model of a traditional market to reduce plastic waste; organizing the program "Exchanging plastic waste for trees"; propaganda on installing and using electronic payment applications at the market...
