Colonel To Hong Quan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Corps attended and directed the program. Also attending were heads of agencies of the Corps, leaders, commanders, and a large number of cadres, union members, and youth of Brigade 139.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Thai Doan Ngoc, Political Commissar of the Brigade, this is a political activity aimed at widely propagating to cadres and youth union members a deep understanding of the glorious 94-year tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 / March 26, 2025), the 47-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of the Brigade (April 18, 1978 / April 18, 2025). From there, it helps cadres and soldiers in the Brigade to arouse pride, build determination, sense of responsibility in self-cultivation, training, striving and working, determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
The art program included many unique singing, dancing and group dances performed by members and youths of Brigade 139 in collaboration with sister units, highlighting the great contributions of cadres, members and youths of the Army through the ages, while also arousing honor, pride, encouraging and motivating the youth of Brigade 139 to continue promoting traditions and upholding the sense of responsibility of the younger generation.
Private Nguyen Tien Thanh, Company 6, Battalion 54, Brigade 139 shared: “This is the first time I have watched and participated in performing arts in a military environment. The first days were difficult because it was the first time I was exposed to difficult movements, but looking back, the results were the success of the performances, which added youthfulness and patriotism to us.”
The program ended with a campfire and bamboo dance, group dances created an atmosphere of solidarity, friendliness and reunion between the youth of Brigade 139 and the sister units in the stationed area.
