With pride and infinite gratitude, today, the entire Party, people and army celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) - the genius leader, great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity. He has brought glory to our nation, our people, our country. His thoughts will forever guide us to a bright future.

President Ho Chi Minh is the founder, leader and trainer of our Party, the soul, the brilliant flag leading the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army to unite as one, fight bravely, and write the most glorious pages of history of the Vietnamese nation. He devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause of our Party and our nation, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people. Every victory and every step forward of the Vietnamese revolution is closely linked to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. He left us and future generations a huge fortune, an extremely precious legacy, which is: Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Ho Chi Minh era, and Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style.
One of the greatest thoughts that President Ho Chi Minh left to our Party and our nation is love for humanity, for humanity, for a prosperous and happy life for the people. Throughout his life, Uncle Ho devoted all his love to his compatriots and comrades; to the elderly, children, girls and boys, from the lowlands to the highlands; from the North to the South... He confided: "I have only one desire, the utmost desire, which is to make our country completely independent, our people completely free, everyone has food to eat, clothes to wear, everyone can study". Imbued with his teachings, on the foundation of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought, with great responsibility and love, the Party has led our nation to overcome countless difficulties and challenges, achieving great victories of historical significance. In the history of the struggle to build and defend the country, there has never been a period when Vietnam has developed as brilliantly as in the Ho Chi Minh era. In particular, in nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation process, the Party has well implemented the motto of "using the people's talents and strength to benefit the people", gathering the strength of the entire nation to build a prosperous and happy life for the people. Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today.
May 19 has become a sacred holiday for the entire nation. In the hearts of generations of Vietnamese people, there is an emotional remembrance and infinite gratitude towards beloved Uncle Ho. This year, we celebrate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday at a time of special significance when Party committees and organizations at all levels conduct a preliminary review of 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. This is an opportunity for every Vietnamese citizen not only to show respect for the beloved leader, but more than ever to fully and deeply understand the great values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Every cadre and party member must see more clearly their responsibility in learning from and following Uncle Ho, must truly set a shining example in morality and lifestyle, be close to the people, listen to the people and be responsible to the people, worthy of being a servant of the people as President Ho Chi Minh once advised.
Proud of the glorious Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, our entire Party, people and army vow to faithfully and excellently continue his great cause; resolutely and persistently fight to firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland; build Vietnam into a country of “rich people, strong country, democracy, equality and civilization”, and steadily advance towards socialism.
Proud to be the homeland that has had the honor of welcoming Uncle Ho to visit five times, the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh vow to forever follow the path that the Party and Uncle Ho have chosen; continue to promote the patriotic and revolutionary traditions of the homeland, step up the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; unite, strive, take advantage of opportunities, break through to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, making Thai Binh an exemplary province in all aspects as beloved Uncle Ho always wished.
