From now on, Vietnamese people can create images from text through Meta AI

At the beginning of October, Meta said that the Meta AI feature set - an artificial intelligence model developed by Meta (Facebook's parent company) - is available in countries such as Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, the Philippines and the UK. Some other countries such as Vietnam will be deployed, but there is no specific time yet.

Recently, some users in Vietnam shared about being able to access and experience Meta AI for free.

Meta AI is an artificial intelligence model developed by Meta (Facebook's parent company).

First rolled out in the US and more than 20 markets in July, Meta AI operates as a chatbot similar to ChatGPT but uses the Llama 3 large language model.

Users can chat with chatbots about a variety of topics. AI also allows users to find out detailed information about a post they see on Facebook or Instagram.

You can also chat with the chatbot on a variety of topics, such as asking for suggestions for places to visit, or creating images via text prompts.

Meta AI can also help users answer questions and provide information on a variety of topics, assist with writing texts, emails or messages, and plan events and trips.

Notably, Meta AI can also make suggestions about food, travel, shopping, support learning, research, and translation between many different languages.

Users can use Meta AI on the web (at meta.ai), but this feature has not been integrated into Meta applications such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp in the Vietnamese market.

To use Meta AI effectively, users should ask clear and specific questions to get accurate answers.

Meta AI can communicate in both Vietnamese and English. If the answer is not satisfactory, the user can ask AI to explain more clearly or rephrase the question.

Previously, at the Vietnam Innovation Day in Hanoi on the morning of October 1, Mr. Nick Clegg - President of Global External Affairs Meta, said: "We are proud to be the only major technology company in Silicon Valley to provide free AI tools to Vietnamese users."

Meta's President of Global External Relations also revealed that the AI application for businesses on Messenger has been tested in Vietnam since June 2024 and will be launched by the end of this year.
