Funeral and burial of 3 martyrs' remains

Today, May 7, the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri town solemnly held a memorial service and buried the remains of three martyrs gathered by Team 584, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) at the construction site of the Quang Tri town Administrative Center.

The memorial service and burial took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, representatives of the Party Committee, local authorities, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and the people respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing gratitude and remembrance of the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people. After the memorial service, the remains of the martyrs were buried at the Martyrs Cemetery of Quang Tri town.

Previously, on April 26, at the construction site of the Quang Tri Town Administrative Center (Ward 2, Quang Tri Town), the construction unit discovered explosives and reported them to the authorities. Upon receiving the report, the Provincial Military Command quickly organized forces to be present at the scene, handle the explosives, and at the same time conduct a search and collect 3 martyrs' remains with many bones, along with accompanying relics including: AK guns, infantry shovels, buttons, rubber sandals, personal wallets...
