According to Mr. Cuong, reorganizing Chu Van An High School into a specialized school will help the school maximize its potential and affirm its position in the education system of the capital and the whole country.

“This is not only a change in name but also a strong commitment of the city to the development of high-quality education, meeting the needs of training talents for the country and the capital. This transformation will open up new opportunities for the school's students, creating conditions for them to access an intensive learning environment, maximizing their abilities in specialized fields,” said Mr. Cuong.

In particular, Mr. Tran The Cuong requested Chu Van An High School for the Gifted to focus on developing an operational plan that complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the organization and operation of specialized high schools; build a school with modern facilities, a team of excellent teachers, and become a high-quality leading educational institution in Hanoi and the whole country; develop and implement a school development roadmap for each school year, in accordance with current regulations.

In the 2027-2028 school year, 100% of the school's classes will be specialized classes. From the 2029-2030 school year, the school will expand its scale with 60 specialized classes, while also researching and implementing the Vietnamese Studies program and a number of training programs with international certificates...

The Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested Chu Van An High School for the Gifted to clearly define its goals and specific solutions to achieve its development goals.

Chu Van An High School for the Gifted was established in 1908 under the name of Protectorate High School. In 1945, the school was renamed Chu Van An National High School and has kept this name until now. The school is also known to many people as Buoi School, where many generations of politicians, scientists, educators, artists, economists, and famous armed forces heroes were trained.

The school's teaching tradition and educational quality are affirmed by many achievements and awards of students at national, regional and international levels over the years.
