The US-Europe trade war "will get worse" as Washington continues to increase tariffs on the European Union (EU) and other countries.

Mr Trump has repeatedly criticised the EU, saying it does not facilitate US goods. He has also vowed to impose reciprocal tariffs on all countries, corresponding to the tariffs they impose on goods from the world's largest economy.
The US will soon impose a 25% tariff on imported steel and aluminum, including from Europe, the White House has confirmed.
Two experts Inga Fechner and Ewa Manthey of the Dutch financial group ING said that conflict with Europe is "inevitable" as US President Donald Trump pushes for stronger tariff measures.
"President Trump has laid the groundwork for further trade tensions. This will not be the last tariff move. The EU will certainly retaliate and the fight will intensify," ING's report said.
The European Commission (EC) has affirmed that it will not hesitate to respond to new tariffs from the US.
"The EU sees no justification for imposing tariffs on our exports. We will act to protect the interests of European businesses, workers and consumers against unjustified measures," the agency said.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed: "If the US imposes unreasonable tariffs on the EU, we will take firm and proportionate countermeasures."
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also warned: "We can only say cautiously but clearly: whoever imposes tariffs must accept being taxed in return."
