University of Health Sciences has its first president

(NLDO) - Professor Phan Bach Thang, Director of the Center for Research on Nanostructured and Molecular Materials (INOMAR), holds the position of Rector of the University of Health Sciences.

On March 7, the Council of Ho Chi Minh City National University voted to recognize the principal of the University of Health Sciences.

Accordingly, Professor Phan Bach Thang, Director of the Center for Nanostructured and Molecular Materials Research (INOMAR), holds the position of Rector of the University of Health Sciences.

Professor Phan Bach Thang was born in 1979, from Thai Binh. He received his PhD in Advanced Materials Science and Technology from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea in 2009, and was appointed Professor of Physics in 2022.

He has a lot of management experience from department level, faculty level, to head of affiliated units from 2009 to present.

In professional work, Professor Phan Bach Thang also has a lot of experience in training, chairing, participating in scientific research topics and has many scientific publications and inventions related to the field of health science.
