Tien Giang Provincial Political School meets level 1 standards

NDO - On the morning of December 18, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee to organize a ceremony to receive Tien Giang Provincial Political School meeting level 1 standards according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW of the Central Party Secretariat.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; comrade Nguyen Van Danh, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly delegation of Tien Giang province.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: In implementing Regulation No. 11 of the Secretariat, with a scientific, methodical, innovative, focused and key approach, Tien Giang Provincial Political School was recognized as reaching level 1 standards. This is the basis for building a model Party School in the locality, a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable development.

On behalf of the leaders of the Party, the State and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the Board of Directors, the staff, lecturers and students of the school; the attention, leadership and close and effective direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee and the coordination and support of departments, branches and localities in Tien Giang province.

To maintain and sustain the Tien Giang Provincial Political School at level 1 and build the school to reach level 2, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the Standing Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee to continue to lead and direct the school to improve the quality of training and fostering of cadres; to truly attach importance to education, training, improving revolutionary ethics, political mettle, ideological stance and qualifications, leadership and management capacity for cadres; to build a team of cadres who are up to the task, with the spirit of "Dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, be creative; dare to face difficulties, challenges and dare to act for the common good".

The Provincial Party Standing Committee continues to pay attention to and trust in assigning provincial-level scientific tasks to Tien Giang Provincial Political School, especially assigning the school to coordinate with departments, agencies, branches, and localities to advise, research, and summarize practical strategic issues such as implementing Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Mekong Delta region to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee directed Tien Giang Provincial Political School and related departments, agencies and branches to review the level 2 criteria, clearly identify the criteria that have been met and not met; adjust the goals and roadmap of the project to continue building Tien Giang Provincial Political School as one of the leading flags of the Mekong Delta region and the whole country in building level 2 standards.

In addition, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also suggested that Tien Giang Provincial Political School must build the School to truly become a model of Party building work, a model of maintaining discipline and order; a cradle for training Party spirit, Party culture, preserving and spreading the positive values ​​of Party school culture to other political schools and training institutions across the country. To do so, the school needs to determine to continue improving the quality of training, fostering, scientific research, and summarizing practical experience in a substantial manner; there must be more topics and projects transferred and applied in practice.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Danh requested Tien Giang Provincial Political School to define its vision, viewpoints, goals and development orientations to further innovate the work of training and fostering cadres, especially fostering leaders and managers at all levels of the province to be equal to their tasks and loyal to the revolutionary ideals; protect the Party's ideological foundation, actively fight against wrong views and distorted arguments of hostile forces; thoroughly overcome the situation of being afraid to study, being lazy to study political theory, studying only to "cope", to "get a degree, a certificate, a certification"; there needs to be breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of the research staff, with high professional qualifications, strong political will, creativity, prestige and practical experience.

According to Dr. Le Van Ty, Principal of Tien Giang Provincial Political School, on May 15, 2023, the Standing Committee of Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 761 approving the Project "Building a standard Tien Giang Provincial Political School", with the goal of developing a synchronous and comprehensive Political School associated with the goal of building a political school that meets level 1 standards by 2025 and level 2 standards by 2030. Up to now, the school has completed 6 criteria according to Regulation No. 11 of the Secretariat: institutions, regulations; staff, civil servants; training and fostering; scientific research activities, summarizing practices; building a party school culture, implementing discipline and order; facilities, technical means and finance.
