Helicopters and fighter jets practice in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City
On the morning of March 27, many helicopters and fighter jets flew in formation, hovering over the sky of Ho Chi Minh City to practice for the performance on April 30.

At around 9:30 a.m., 7 Su30-MK2 fighter jets appeared in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City, heading from Thu Duc City to District 1. This is the first time the squadron has trained in the center of Ho Chi Minh City after nearly a month of training in the Bien Hoa area. Before that, at around 8am, the planes took off from Bien Hoa airport runway, starting the training program. A squadron of Yak-130 combat training aircraft flies across Ba Son Bridge (District 1).
In the central area, the plane was at an altitude of 350-400 m, reaching the riverbank at Bach Dang Wharf, the altitude dropped to about 200 m. According to the parade plan on the occasion of April 30, the Air Defense - Air Force has mobilized dozens of aircraft such as SU30-MK2, Mi helicopters of various types, YAK-130 for training. This is the first time a large number of fighter planes have performed in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City. Helicopters fly over Vietcombank Tower in the center of District 1. Helicopter flies over Independence Palace (District 1) at 9:20.
10 helicopters coordinated in a 3-4-3 formation, synchronized in flying techniques. The squadrons performed formation demonstrations at different altitudes, practicing coordination between flight crews and handling situations in the air. It is expected that the flight formations will conduct a rehearsal in mid-April before participating in the official performance at the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day on the morning of April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City. Three SU30-MK2 fighters separated from the formation and performed a rotational maneuver.
