Artificial Intelligence - Opportunities and Challenges in the Digital Age

At the workshop, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, member of the State Council of Professors, Chairman of the State Council of Professors in the field of information technology (IT), Head of the expert group building the national strategy on artificial intelligence (Ministry of Science and Technology), along with many experts and representatives from universities, research institutes and domestic technology enterprises, shared about the opportunities that AI brings, from application in education, scientific research to implementation in enterprises and production.

In addition, experts also analyzed major challenges such as algorithm transparency, ethical issues in AI, and preparing human resources to meet market needs.

The workshop took place in the context that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued and organized a workshop to deploy the action program, Plan No. 92/KH-UBND dated March 18, 2025 on the implementation of Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP of the Government and Plan No. 433-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the province.

According to this plan, Dong Nai aims to form a digital technology industrial ecosystem with strategic technologies including: semiconductors, data centers, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), big data (Big Data), Cloud, Blockchain...

In particular, the province will increase investment, improve infrastructure; develop and make use of high-quality human resources and talents to meet the requirements of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation...
