Historical witness exchange at Phu Dien Primary School

This is an activity of the Hanoi Youth Union to implement the Youth Union's work program and the youth and children's movement in the capital in 2025; to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and to strengthen theeducation of traditions and patriotism among the youth and children of the capital through the series of historical witness exchange programs "Telling historical stories - Fueling tradition". The Bac Tu Liem District Youth Union and Phu Dien Primary School are the host units.

At the exchange, musician Truong Quy Hai, a soldier of Division 356 at the Vi Xuyen front, Ha Giang (period 1979 - 1989) told stories about the sacrifices, the resilient and indomitable spirit of soldiers; the examples of the Heroes of the Armed Forces, the daily life of soldiers during the war, despite the deprivation and hardship, but always training to overcome all challenges and believe in victory...

Principal of Phu Dien Primary School Vu Thi Thanh said that through the exchange activities, the students understood more about the great sacrifices of soldiers, thereby partly feeling the value of a peaceful life today, thereby being grateful to the previous generation who fought for the independence and freedom of the country.
