Kinhtedothi - On December 26, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a notice on hanging the national flag to celebrate the New Year 2025, from December 31, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee requested agencies, units, hospitals, schools and people in the city to fly the national flag from December 31, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are responsible for directing, inspecting and reminding about the hanging of the national flag in residential areas; Heads of agencies and units inspect the hanging of the national flag in units under their management.
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a plan to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve 2025 in Hanoi.
Hanoi has a total of 5 fireworks display locations with 6 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display sites. Specifically:
Battlefield No. 1: Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters).
Battlefield 2: Hoan Kiem District (in front of Hanoi Post Office).
Battlefield No. 3: Nam Tu Liem District (at F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward).
Battlefield No. 4: Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward).
Battlefield No. 5: Son Tay Town (Son Tay Citadel).
Battlefield No. 6: Dong Anh District (Dong Anh District Sports Center).
The number of high-altitude fireworks includes a total of 3,600 fireworks (600 fireworks per site); low-altitude fireworks includes a total of 540 sets (90 sets per site).
Fireworks display time is 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2025.
