Quang Nam is considered a locality with a diverse and unique tourism resource system distributed throughout the regions. With investment in transport infrastructure as well as tourist areas/sites, Quang Nam is gradually expanding its tourism brand beyond the scope of the two world heritages of Hoi An and My Son.
After the formation of Vo Chi Cong route (coastal road 129), tourism in the south of Hoi An has changed dramatically with many large projects coming into operation such as Hoiana, Vinpearl Nam Hoi An, TUI Blue Nam Hoi An... Meanwhile, with the appearance of Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area, the East-West tourism axis from Hoi An to the highlands has more openings.
Recently, FVG Travel Group Joint Stock Company has requested local management agencies to consider research to officially announce 2 tourist routes with specific directions. Including: East - West tourist route (Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang) and coastal tourist route (Hoi An - Nam Hoi An - Tam Ky - Chu Lai airport).
The announcement will help investors, especially in the tourism sector, have more basis to promote and expand investment to create a breakthrough for these two routes with great tourism potential. FVG Group also commits to its responsibility as the investor of Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area to upgrade the scale of this destination in the period of 2025 - 2030 to serve about 1-3 million visitors per year.

Ms. Vo Ngoc Anh - General Director of FVG Travel Group Joint Stock Company believes that connecting tourist destinations with diverse cultures of Hoi An, My Son Relic Site and indigenous culture of the Co Tu people in Dong Giang into a "golden route" of tourism is necessary to create a diverse and in-depth chain of tourism products in the development of Quang Nam tourism.
In addition, this can help attract many investors to participate along the route in organizing stops, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc., creating many jobs, contributing to promoting the local socio-economy.
The routes of these two tourist routes are not new and pass through many destinations as well as areas with important tourism resources of Quang Nam.
At a conference on tourism development in Quang Nam province, Mr. Tran Trong Kien - Chairman of Thien Minh Group said that the coastline from the south of Cua Dai bridge to Tam Tien will soon become a new center for high-class beach resorts in Vietnam.
There are few areas in our country, or even in other countries, that simultaneously have a long, beautiful coastline, a relatively stable climate, combined with a series of tangible and intangible cultural heritages, and charming natural landscapes.
Regarding the East-West tourism route, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu assessed that the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang tourism route is a unique and rare tourism route in the region with many special values both in nature and culture. Destinations on this route are actively creating many new products and will continue to develop strongly in the future.
It can be seen that if there is more foundation for tourism planning, some areas with potential destinations but not yet developed appropriately such as Tam Ky City and mountainous localities will increase opportunities to attract investment in this field.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the proposal to announce these two tourist routes is just a proposal from the business. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will review and study the details before proposing to the province for an official decision.
