The 2025 Sanda World Cup will take place from April 5 to 10 in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province (China), organized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) every two years. The tournament brings together nearly 200 athletes, coaches and officials from 26 countries and regions.

Boxer Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (in blue armor) won the final match of the women's 60 kg weight class at the tournament.

The Vietnamese Wushu team had 6 athletes participating in the tournament. After the rounds, all athletes won a place in the final round. Bac Giang Sports was honored to have athlete Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy participating in the tournament. In the final match that took place on the night of April 9, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy competed excellently and won the Gold Medal in the women's 60kg category.

At the 2023 World Wushu Championship held in the US, martial artist Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy competed hard to win the Gold Medal in the women's 60kg Sanda category.

At the end of the 2025 Sanda World Cup, the Vietnamese delegation won 4 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals, ranking second after the Chinese delegation. Of which, the 4 martial artists who won Gold Medals include: Nguyen Thi Lan (Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang) in the women's 48 kg weight class, Dinh Van Tam (Quang Ngai) in the men's 52 kg weight class, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy in the women's 60 kg weight class, Huynh Do Dat (Quang Nam) in the men's 70 kg weight class./.
