“Spring of Reunification” – art program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a decision approving the script and stage design of the "Special art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1974 - April 30, 2025)".

The art program was organized to demonstrate the significance, great stature, and great value of the Great Spring Victory of 1975, completely liberating the South and unifying the country in the history of building and defending the country of our people.

Through art performances, the program propagates to all classes of people about love for the homeland, country, national pride and revolutionary tradition under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; comprehensively and deeply evaluates the country's development achievements in all fields after 50 years of national unification, through 40 years of implementing the renovation process of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general; from there, proposes directions and tasks for national development in the new era.

At the same time, the program aims to preserve and promote fine traditional culture combined with tourism development; strengthen the great national unity bloc, and successfully carry out the country's innovation.

The program is hosted by the Department of Performing Arts, coordinated by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater and related units, with the theme "Spring of Reunification", taking place at 8:10 p.m. on April 29 in front of Thong Nhat Hall (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), broadcast live on VTV1 (Vietnam Television).

During the program, the audience will enjoy many attractive and meaningful art performances such as: "Hanoi - Hue - Saigon", "Fireworks Night", "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City", "At the Two Ends of Nostalgia", "Liberating the South", "The Plowing Path", "My Path Along the Country", "Spring in the War Zone", "Ho Chi Minh's Song", "Marching to Saigon", "The Country Full of Joy"...

The program is expected to have the participation of 1,000 professional and non-professional artists and actors, including beloved faces such as People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Le Thuy, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam; singers Cam Van, Hoa Minzy, Duc Tuan, Nam Khanh, Thuy Chi, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Dao To Loan, MTV group...

In particular, artists in the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" such as People's Artist Tu Long, singer Bang Kieu, Tuan Hung, football player Hong Son and artists in the program "Anh trai say hi" such as Duc Phuc, Erik, Thai Ngan, Caption Boy also participated in this meaningful art night.
