Awarding ceremony of the contest 'School Health'

The contest "School Health - for the quality of the country's human resources" was launched to respond to the spirit of implementing Decision No. 1660/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister issued on October 2, 2021 approving the School Health Program for the period 2021-2025 with the goal of maintaining and promoting education, care, protection and management of the health of children and students in educational institutions to ensure comprehensive physical and mental development for students.

During the contest, the Organizing Committee received many entries from all over the country. Most of the entries were dedicated by teachers, parents, and students, sharing many creative ideas and effective solutions, contributing to quality solutions to promote school health.

The organizing committee selected 21 best works to enter the final round. The first prize of the contest went to the work "The importance of preschool health charts" by author Truong Thi Mai (former teacher of Montessori Sunrise Kidz preschool system).

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, awarded the First Prize to the winning author.

Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, acknowledged and highly appreciated the content of the contest, which accurately and diversely reflected practical issues related to school health.

The President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education also hopes that through propaganda work, sharp writers and press works, the community will understand and grasp information about school health more quickly; contributing quality solutions to effectively implement the Government's School Health Program.

The authors won second and third prizes in the contest.

At the program, Citizen and Encouragement of Learning Magazine continued to launch the writing contest "Learning Family" 2024.

Accordingly, the contest is organized to encourage people from all walks of life, from the locality to discover and commend families that are currently striving to become "Learning Families" according to 3 major and important criteria set by the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Education (family learning results; family learning conditions; effects of learning on the family); commend the studious spirit of families in our country in the process of striving to achieve the title of "Learning Family".

The authors won the collective and encouragement prizes of the contest.

The articles should reflect and praise the process of overcoming difficulties in studying of a specific family; express gratitude for the contributions of parents, grandparents, and siblings to the education of their children and grandchildren; the development of plans and goals for studying in the family; and the successful development and implementation of conditions for studying of family members.

The academic results of family members have achieved many achievements; the education of moral traditions, the tradition of studiousness for children and grandchildren; emotional memories with humanistic values, the emotions of family members before decisions, changes in thinking, changes in learning conditions, the importance of learning in the family...

Journalist To Quang Phan, Editor-in-Chief of Citizen and Encouragement of Learning Magazine, Chairman of Hanoi Journalists Association launched the writing contest "Learning Family".

The articles honor exemplary families with a tradition of studiousness, striving to achieve the title of "Learning Family" - the cell of a learning society through exemplary learning families; introduce learning family models according to the criteria of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; connect, introduce, and inspire exemplary learning families, spreading learning inspiration to everyone around; create more channels to recognize learning families.

Including learning citizens, to help readers gain more knowledge, learn learning experiences for generations of citizens; contribute and propose practical solutions for the learning movement in Vietnamese families, from urban to rural areas throughout Vietnam.

The time for receiving entries starts from October 2, 2024 to May 1, 2025. The closing ceremony, awarding and commending the contest is expected to be held on President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 2025).
