Today, August 11, the Central Working Group of the Vietnam Women's Union led by Permanent Vice President Do Thi Thu Thao coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize a gift-giving program for orphans in the province.
Accordingly, the delegation presented 50 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to orphans in difficult circumstances in Vinh Linh, Hai Lang, Trieu Phong, Gio Linh, Cam Lo districts, Quang Tri town and Dong Ha city.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Do Thi Thu Thao advised that all levels of the Women's Union and relatives of orphans need to continue to care for and encourage them both materially and spiritually, especially those in puberty, so that they have the motivation and support to rise up, complete their studies, and become useful citizens for the country.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union also visited and presented gifts to 5 heroic Vietnamese mothers including: Mother Bui Thi Xiec (Cua Tung town, Vinh Linh district), Mother Phan Thi Thuoc, Dao Thi Vui (Hai Thuong commune, Hai Lang district), Mother Tran Thi Chanh (Trieu Lang commune, Trieu Phong district), Mother Nguyen Thi Phuoc (Ward 3, Quang Tri town).
The delegation offered flowers and incense at the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Temple in Hai Thuong Commune, Hai Lang District; visited the church of former Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Hoang Thi Ai in Bich Khe Village, Trieu Long Commune, Trieu Phong District and attended the program "Wish for peace, an immortal heroic song".
