Previously, Dan Tri reporters consulted history teachers about the answer to question number 40, test code 319.
Accordingly, the teachers consulted chose 2 different answers out of 4 options for this question. Although according to the multiple choice format of the 2024 high school graduation exam, there is only 1 correct answer.

However, teacher Nguyen Thi Huyen Thao - History teacher at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City - thinks that B is the most correct answer.
Ms. Thao analyzed: Candidates will hesitate between the two answers B and C. However, according to the question, the word America is at the beginning of the question "The fact that America was not successful... proves". Along with that, the entire content of the excerpt mentions the American side.
Therefore, the teacher assumes that America will be the main subject of the question and answer B with the American perspective will be the final answer.
A history teacher in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, shares the same opinion with Ms. Dinh Thi Trang Nhung that the correct answer to question 40 is C.
This person explained that, looking at the above document, it shows that the content emphasizes the element of negotiation. With 4 options, only option C mentions the element of negotiation, which the other answers do not.
Therefore, this teacher chose answer C.
