(NLDO) - Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy, Principal of Hoa Sen University, has sent a request to the Chairman of the University Council to terminate her contract due to health reasons.
In a letter dated February 17 sent to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen University and Chairman of Nguyen Hoang Group, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy stated that on February 10 she sent the Board of Directors a letter requesting to resign from the position of principal after a long period of unpaid leave due to her health condition not being able to continue working.

Now, Ms. Thuy sends a request to terminate her labor contract with Hoa Sen University from February 28, 2025.
In her request to terminate her contract, Ms. Thuy said that she considered Hoa Sen University an important part of her life and would always be responsible for protecting the good values of the school. She was also grateful to the President and the school's teaching staff for creating favorable conditions and accompanying her during the past 4-year term.
On the same day Ms. Thuy submitted a request to terminate her labor contract, Hoa Sen University announced and awarded the decision to appoint Professor Truong Nguyen Thanh as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board; and to appoint Master Doan Ngoc Duy as Vice Principal.
Four years ago, on July 15, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen University announced the decision to officially appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy as the school's principal after nearly 5 months as Acting Principal.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy was born in 1984 and successfully defended her doctoral thesis in Management Science, specializing in Marketing in France at the age of 29. Ms. Thuy has many years of teaching experience at Hue University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Aix-Marseille University and Kedge University in France.
In 2018, Ms. Thuy was one of the young doctors awarded the title of associate professor.
