On the morning of November 6, the Standing Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee held a ceremony to award Party Badges to 41 Party members on November 7, 2024. Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, attended and chaired the ceremony.
The 41 Party members receiving the Party Badge this time were former members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, retired leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, comrades with 60 years of Party membership or more, and comrades who were wounded and sick soldiers in the area. Of these, 12 comrades received the 65-year Party membership badge, 18 comrades received the 60-year Party membership badge, 1 comrade received the 55-year Party membership badge, 3 comrades received the 50-year Party membership badge, 6 comrades received the 45-year Party membership badge, and 1 comrade received the 40-year Party membership badge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, affirmed that receiving the Party Badge is an honor and pride not only for individual Party members, but also a common joy and pride for the entire Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee in general and Ha Long City in particular. At the same time, it shows the recognition and respect of the Party, State and people for the contributions of Party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
With enthusiasm, intelligence, responsibility, and extensive experience in various fields and practices, the Party members awarded the Party Badge continue to uphold their exemplary pioneering role, contributing to the cause of construction and development of the province and city, actively encouraging and contributing valuable and dedicated ideas in Party building, the political system and local activities, nurturing and educating the revolutionary tradition for the young generation..., contributing to building Ha Long into a model city, rich, beautiful, civilized and affectionate.
Up to now, the Ha Long City Party Committee has had over 29,000 Party members awarded and posthumously awarded the Party Badge. During the Party Badge awarding ceremony on November 7, 2024, the entire City Party Committee had 320 Party members honored to be awarded the Party Badge at the grassroots Party Committees; 41 comrades were directly organized by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to award the Party Badge.
