Top 60 compete, new Miss receives unprecedented "unique" privilege

Recently, the press conference to award sash and announce the Top 60 contestants competing in Miss Vietnam 2024 held in Ho Chi Minh City attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community.

Miss Vietnam 2024 is different, the new Miss receives special privileges

According to the Head of the Organizing Committee, the Top 60 contestants will enter the final night of Miss Vietnam 2024. The most unique point of the contest is the selection of 60 contestants representing each province. "The contest aims to create a vibrant and attractive playground for young women. We want the first Miss Vietnam National contest to be different. Different but attractive, bringing value to the contestants and value to the community.

Many girls from a province meet the criteria to enter the final round of Miss Vietnam National but only one person is allowed to be selected because of the format. What the organizers hope for next year is that each province will have at least one representative to participate.

We hope that each girl participating in Miss Vietnam National will promote tourism, culture, and people of the province where she was born and raised. If there are 63 representatives from the provinces, it will be a very good promotion channel for local tourism development in the context of provinces and cities across the country trying to promote local culture and people," Ms. Pham Kim Dung added.

The winner of Miss Vietnam National will represent Vietnam in the Miss International pageant. Referring to the privileges of the beauty crowned Miss Vietnam National 2024, the contest's organizers revealed: "Miss Vietnam National has the opportunity to travel to 5 countries to promote tourism in Vietnam and the locality that the new Miss previously represented.

We believe that the efforts made for Miss Vietnam National contribute to creating a more vibrant atmosphere for beauty contests in Vietnam and an environment for girls to strive to perfect their appearance as well as their souls."

Sharing about the schedule, activities and official competitions of Miss Vietnam 2024, director Hoang Nhat Nam said that the National Cultural Costume competition is emphasized to bring the national spirit. "The competition set a new record with 73 national costumes performed on stage. That brings the spirit and soul of the Vietnamese people," director Hoang Nhat Nam shared.

In addition, Miss Vietnam National has a unique feature in that the Organizing Committee uses the city code as the candidate's registration number. "We hope that the candidate's name, city and registration number will remind us of the license plate number and the place she came from. I believe that this is a way for us to remember and love Vietnam more. The 5 major cities directly under the central government have more than one candidate, the registration number is added with a suffix in order 1, 2, 3", the representative of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam National explained.

In the Beauty contest, talented contestants will bring local specialties in home economics, cooking, and flower arrangement.

In the final night of Miss Vietnam, the beauty was crowned in a special ao dai and phoenix robe designed by designer Tran Thien Khanh to highlight the femininity, power, and splendor of the winner.

Before that, the Top 60 will compete to select the Top 30; Top 15, Top 9 and the final Top 3. After the 2nd Runner-up is announced, the Top 2 will enter the behavioral round to select the 1st Runner-up and the new Miss Vietnam.
