The Kyiv Independent online newspaper reported, In an interview with the US newspaper, Mr. Zelensky said: "Refusing to support means that President Biden does not want to end the conflict in any way that could deny Russia a victory."
According to the leader, if that happens, it will be "terrible... with a very long conflict - a tiring, impossible situation, which will take the lives of many people".
In addition, Mr. Zelensky said that Kiev has no plan B and if the US rejects the "victory plan", Ukraine will continue to fight with the current amount of military aid from the West.
According to the US newspaper, Mr. Zelensky's "victory plan" is based on Ukraine quickly joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and receiving much greater military support without the current restrictions.
This includes allowing the use of Western missiles to strike deep into Russian territory, and the missiles must also be supplied in large numbers.
In addition, according to the US newspaper, Kiev is preparing another document, but there is no clear information yet. This could be a plan in case President Biden refuses to approve the first plan, or some kind of document in case negotiations with Russia are possible.
Mr. Zelensky arrived in the United States on September 22 to attend the High-Level Week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly. This is considered an important visit by the Ukrainian President, in which he plans to present to Mr. Biden and two presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump a plan to end the conflict with Russia, which has lasted for 2 and a half years.
Upon arriving in the United States, President Zelensky visited a 155mm artillery shell factory in Pennsylvania. The next stops on the visit will be New York and Washington, DC.
In another related development, on September 22, the British newspaper Guardian published an article quoting the country's Foreign Minister David Lammy on the military conflict in Ukraine: "The difficulties and challenges of the conflict will become deeper and more severe, especially in late 2025, into 2026 and beyond."
According to the newspaper, Mr. Lammy emphasized that Ukraine and its Western allies are actively discussing what else might be needed to help Kiev on the front, in addition to trying to hold the front line under strong pressure in the East.
