Vietnam Multimedia Corporation (VTC) is under the Ministry of Information and Communications.

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

VTC Multimedia Corporation (VTC) is a state-owned enterprise, under the Ministry of Information and Communications, operating in the following fields: Television; Digital content; Telecommunications and Information Technology. Through many ups and downs in the development process, VTC Corporation has demonstrated itself to be a Dynamic - Creative enterprise in applying new technology and developing new services; a collective of Enthusiasm - Perseverance in conquering new things and overcoming difficulties and challenges; thereby building a united collective - a sustainable Community.

VTC Corporation is a pioneer in researching and successfully applying Digital Television technology in Vietnam, which is of great significance for the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Government to use as a basis for planning the Development Strategy of Vietnam Television industry according to advanced digital technology according to the Project "Digitization of terrestrial television transmission and broadcasting by 2020".

VTC Corporation is one of the leading units and laid the foundation for the formation and development of the Digital Content Industry in Vietnam. In recent years, the strong development of the Vietnamese Digital Content Industry has created a new development step in the field of Information Technology, an important nucleus, contributing to the realization of the Project "Bringing Vietnam to soon become a strong country in Information Technology and Communications" of the Government.

With the above achievements, VTC Corporation has been recognized by the Party and State and awarded many noble titles: 03 titles of "Labor Hero in the Renovation Period" for 02 groups and 01 individual; 01 Second Class Independence Medal, nearly 50 Labor Medals of classes 1, 2, 3 and many other certificates of merit and titles awarded by the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications.
