Speaking here, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that in recent times, the movement "Good advice, good service" has become a catalyst to promote the good completion of political tasks in each agency and unit.

Contribute to improving public ethics, building a team of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who truly meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

Striving to overcome all challenges

According to General Secretary and President To Lam, with the widespread implementation of the movement "Good advice, good service" throughout the country, thousands of advanced models have emerged. Of these, 150 delegates were honored as exemplary models of the movement.

The General Secretary and President expressed his emotion knowing that many cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, despite their low income and difficult lives, have strived to overcome all challenges.

Resolutely overcome temptations, work with a high sense of responsibility, practice integrity, impartiality, transparency, respect the law, maintain public ethics, and be loved and trusted by colleagues and the people.

At the same time, it is emphasized that these are also advanced examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and are pioneers in implementing Uncle Ho's Testament.

In the new context of increasing difficulties and challenges, to successfully achieve strategic goals, the General Secretary and President requires maximizing internal resources and taking advantage of external resources, in which human resources are the most important endogenous resources.

Along with that, it is necessary to have a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, true professionalism, integrity, discipline, order and public ethics, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people, always putting the interests of the Party, the nation, the people above all and first.

The General Secretary and President believes that under the leadership of grassroots party organizations, trade unions and professional agencies, we will always create an environment that combines collective education and training with promoting initiative and self-awareness in training and personal development. We will have a strong force and a team of cadres with sufficient capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Quoting President Ho Chi Minh's advice, "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees are servants of the people. Whatever is beneficial to the people, we must do our utmost to do; whatever is harmful to the people, we must avoid at all costs", the General Secretary and President hopes that in their daily tasks and work, from advising on macro policies and strategies to specific administrative and service work, each person must love the people, listen to the people, and wholeheartedly worry and be concerned.

We must be determined to promptly, thoroughly and effectively resolve issues arising related to people's lives and livelihoods and difficulties of organizations and businesses.

We must constantly train our political mettle; firmly grasp policies and laws; constantly improve our knowledge, renew our thinking and vision; have a spirit of lifelong self-study, always update our knowledge and develop our skills to meet the requirements of the new situation.

The General Secretary and President said that in order to promote innovative thinking and creativity in personnel work, Party committees at all levels, leadership collectives, and heads must properly evaluate cadres, truly care about encouraging, planning, and promoting them.

Encourage and protect dynamic, creative cadres who dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good.

Focus on overcoming the situation where a number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees avoid, push, are indifferent, insensitive, work perfunctorily, roughly, ineffectively, are afraid of making mistakes, are afraid of responsibility in performing public duties; do not dare to advise, do not make decisions, do not dare to face difficulties in performing assigned tasks...
