The program to honor outstanding workers and “Thank you for your companionship!” is an annual activity organized by the Vietnam Information and Communications Trade Union. This year, the ceremony to honor outstanding workers and “Thank you for your companionship!” will be held on the evening of July 23.

The program aims to widely promote the contributions of the Vietnamese working class, affirming the role and responsibility of trade unions towards cadres, workers, civil servants and employees in the information and communications industry.

The program helps to strengthen trust and class pride, strengthen the relationship between trade unions and employers, contribute to building a strong Vietnamese Trade Union, promote digital transformation in all fields, levels and sectors, bringing practical benefits to people, businesses and society.

The highlight of the program is the recognition, honor and reward of more than 200 workers with outstanding achievements in work and production in 2023. This activity aims to encourage and motivate union members and workers to overcome difficulties, work creatively, and contribute to the development of agencies, units and businesses in the IT&T industry.

The program also includes a section to thank and express gratitude to employers who have made many contributions to the workers' movement and trade union activities, always paying attention to and implementing well policies and employment for union members and workers in 2023.

On the journey of national development, cadres, workers, civil servants and employees in the Information and Communications sector have promoted the 10 traditional golden words of the sector: "Loyalty - Courage - Dedication - Creativity - Compassion".

In particular, in recent years, generations of workers, civil servants, and employees in the information and communications industry have made many important contributions to the national digital transformation with the dual goal of developing digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

Workers in the IT&T industry are also the source of strength to form strong digital technology enterprises in Vietnam to reach out to the world, arousing the aspiration to develop a strong and prosperous Vietnam, turning this aspiration into spiritual strength to build the country.

The emulation movements responded to and participated in by generations of cadres, workers, civil servants, and employees in the Information and Communications sector have demonstrated creativity and selfless sacrifice, solidarity, love, and sharing in life. These are also good traditional values ​​with profound meanings that are preserved, continued, and promoted to bring about the strong development of the Information and Communications sector in today's era.

“Journey of Aspiration 2024” is a place to share stories and examples that spread the spirit of overcoming oneself, contributing to eliminating gaps and giving wings to the dreams and ambitions of workers. “Journey of Aspiration 2024” is also a place to realize the visions and aspirations of the IT&T industry in the common development journey of the country in the digital age.

The program will take place from 20:10 - 22:10, July 23, 2024 at Au Co Art Center, No. 8 Huynh Thuc Khang, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. The program will be broadcast live on VTC1 channel - VTC Digital Television Station, rebroadcast live on local radio and television channels, VietnamNet newspaper platforms and YouTube channel Tu Hao Viet Nam.

The Ministry of Information and Communications is piloting online reporting . Emphasizing that the implementation of online reporting is an important task, contributing to the modernization of state management of the information and communications sector, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong requested units in the Ministry and the Departments of Information and Communications to actively use and contribute comments.
