The first attack occurred last weekend during the match between Poland and the Netherlands. The second incident took place on June 21, preventing fans from watching the match between Poland and Austria online.
TVP quickly coordinated with domestic network operators to fix the problem and restore service. However, the incident caused a lot of frustration for Polish football fans.
Pawel Olszewski, Poland's deputy minister for digital affairs, said there was evidence that Russian hackers were behind the attacks, which may have been aimed at preventing Poles from watching national team matches online.
In response, TVP has launched an alternative website to broadcast the remaining Euro 2024 matches online, including Poland's final match against France.
