Actively coordinate forest fire fighting in Uong Bi city

Create a firebreak to prevent fire from spreading and control the fire.

Previously, at around 2 pm on April 15, a forest fire broke out in the above locations, mainly in acacia, pine, humus, and reed forests. Receiving information from local authorities, the City Military Command mobilized 25 officers and soldiers of the unit to coordinate with 40 officers and soldiers of Battalion 16 (Division 395, Military Region 3) along with the Forest Ranger force, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, Quang Ninh Pine Joint Stock Company, militia, grassroots security and people of the two wards to deploy measures to extinguish the fire and create roads to prevent the fire from spreading to other forest areas.

Due to the dry weather, the fire fighting work encountered many difficulties. However, with the efforts and active fire fighting of the forces, after nearly 5 hours of fighting the fire, the fire was basically under control.

The forces ensure absolute safety for people and equipment. The cause of the fire is currently being clarified by the authorities. The authorities are still assigning forces to be on duty to handle the situation in case the fire flares up again.
