According to statistics from functional sectors, in the first quarter of 2025, Ha Long City welcomed nearly 2.3 million visitors, an increase of 5% over the same period in 2024 (CK). Total revenue from tourism reached 6,345 billion VND, an increase of 44% CK.

In the peak summer tourist season of 2025, the city is preparing a series of tourism activities and events under the Ha Long brand, such as: Ha Long Carnival 2025; Beer and Squid Festival; Lion, Lion and Dragon Festival; Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival; Kite Festival; Motorized Kite and Paragliding Festival; Ha Long Fun Wheels Festival; Sports Sailing Festival; Traditional Dragon Boat Racing Festival of Ha Long City; Hot Air Balloon Festival; Artistic Light Performance Festival on Heritage Bay...

Working together with local Party committees and authorities, Market Management Team No. 5 (Provincial Market Management Department) has also strengthened the work of grasping the local market situation; on that basis, advising local Party committees and authorities to issue leadership documents and direct market management work. Thereby, building an increasingly civilized and healthy tourism and service business environment in the city, bringing satisfaction to tourists.

Not only in Ha Long City, to create a healthy tourism business environment, recently, the Market Management force of localities in the province, especially in key tourist areas of the province such as Uong Bi, Van Don, Co To, Mong Cai, are also actively implementing activities to inspect and control business activities and provide services to tourists.

Market management forces in the province also proactively inspect and supervise the implementation of listing and selling at the listed prices of business and service establishments; tighten control over the origin, source, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, and goods that do not ensure food safety...

In particular, the provincial Market Management Department has also requested all Market Management Teams to strengthen inspection of price posting for all goods and services serving tourists and souvenirs throughout the province. The teams assign team leaders and establish working groups on duty 24/7 all days of the week to receive information from tourists and residents and directly inspect, verify and immediately handle violations.

Along with inspection and control work, the Market Management Force also focuses on implementing market control topics and plans in conjunction with communication, training, and guidance for business establishments and service providers to publicly list prices according to regulations; publicize hotlines so that in case of violations, tourists can report to the units for timely resolution.

With proactive, drastic, early and remote solutions, although the number of tourists coming to Quang Ninh for sightseeing and tourism has increased, the market situation in the province has always been maintained stable, without unreasonable price increases; goods are of guaranteed quality, origin, and food hygiene and safety.
