In the first 9 months of 2024, the Provincial People's Council has performed its functions and tasks well according to legal regulations, programs and plans. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council actively improved and innovated its direction and administration; maintained and effectively organized regular meetings; focused on directing solutions to improve the quality of activities of the People's Councils at district and commune levels. The quality of the Provincial People's Council sessions has been constantly improved, issuing many important resolutions to create a legal basis to help authorities at all levels carry out the work of directing socio-economic development. Activities of meeting voters, receiving citizens, handling and urging the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations have been effectively implemented. The Provincial People's Council Committees have been active, proactive, and closely coordinated in implementing their tasks according to regulations; the quality of the inspection work has been increasingly improved. Coordinate closely and promptly with the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and related departments and branches, contributing to improving effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of work, promptly resolving arising tasks in socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality.

In the fourth quarter, the Provincial People's Council continued to improve the quality of its activities, focusing on preparing and organizing well the People's Council meetings. The People's Council Committees performed well the verification work to ensure that the reports, projects, and draft resolutions submitted at the meetings were in accordance with the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and were suitable to the practical conditions of the locality. Organized well the supervision sessions according to the set plan. Monitored, inspected, and supervised the implementation of post-supervision recommendations, questioning and answering activities at the People's Council meetings, voters' recommendations at voter meetings, the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations... Urge and promote the supervision of the Provincial People's Council Delegation to ensure compliance with the law. Organized explanations at the meetings of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee. Closely coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to resolve issues in the process of implementing the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the preparation of the content to be presented at the 20th session of the Provincial People's Council; the Provincial People's Council Committees reported on the results of examining the draft resolutions to be presented at the session; the Provincial People's Council Legal Committee reported on the content of provincial budget support for the Provincial Police to purchase equipment to serve the work of ensuring network security and preventing high-tech crimes in the province.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial People's Council in the past 9 months; requested the Standing Committee, committees, teams and each delegate of the Provincial People's Council to continue to promote their responsibilities, review tasks, difficulties, shortcomings and limitations, propose solutions to overcome them, and focus on implementing well the tasks and plans set out in the fourth quarter. Pay attention to organizing supervision sessions well; strengthen monitoring and supervising the situation and results of implementing resolutions and projects of the Provincial People's Council; response and flood prevention work in the last months of the year; results of implementing recommendations at the explanation and questioning sessions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and results of handling petitions, complaints and denunciations of all levels and functional branches. Improve the quality of Provincial People's Council meetings, especially carefully, thoroughly and promptly preparing reports and draft resolutions submitted at the meetings to ensure high feasibility and compliance with regulations. Check the performance of tasks of the committees and delegates of the People's Council. Regarding the reports and resolutions expected to be submitted at the 20th session of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Provincial People's Committee, and relevant agencies are required to continue to coordinate in reviewing, considering, and comparing the practical situation, carefully studying legal regulations to complete the content, and unifying the list to be submitted at the session; especially for the Report on the Resolution on the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030 and the investment portfolios, it is necessary to clearly define the objectives and motivations, ensuring that the resolutions after promulgation are feasible and highly effective, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the locality.
