The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its 30th meeting.

On November 15, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the 30th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI.

Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Budgetary Committee; Lam Dong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Society Department; Nguyen Tien Duc, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Department; along with leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council listened to the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council report on the progress of preparations for the regular session at the end of 2023; report on the results of the Provincial People's Council's work in 2023, the work program for 2024; report on the mid-term review of the Provincial People's Council's activities in the 2021-2026 term, key tasks and solutions in the coming time; report on the plan to organize regular sessions in 2024, the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026. Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently prepare all reports, submissions, and draft resolutions to submit to the Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of 2023, and submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee before November 20, 2023. For the submissions, the Provincial People's Council Committees will coordinate to promptly deploy the verification work and the preparation work to submit to the Standing Committee of the People's Council for comments. Regarding the contents of discussion and questioning at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council Committee and the delegations of the Provincial People's Council will review and synthesize the opinions and recommendations of voters to propose 2 groups of solutions to discuss at the next meeting to unify the groups of solutions and remove difficulties in the contents of questioning at the People's Council meeting. Regarding the plan to organize a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected by the People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council will closely follow the timelines as planned, advise the Standing Committee to organize a vote of confidence in the meeting at the end of 2023; Assign the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups to continue to survey voters' opinions and recommendations as well as the settlement results of competent agencies; assign the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Departments and branches to review and register the list of resolutions to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval in 2024 to ensure the planning and proactive issuance of resolutions...
