On June 7, in Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province, the Coast Guard Command held a conference on democratic dialogue for the first 6 months of 2023 with officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command. Major General Tran Van Xuan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were representatives of functional agencies of the Coast Guard Command; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the head of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, along with leaders and commanders of affiliated agencies and units and all officers and soldiers present in Phu Quoc city.

On behalf of the unit, Colonel Nguyen Thai Duong, Deputy Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, reported on the results of implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in the first 6 months of the year; directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023. In the first 6 months of the year, the Region Command has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, State, Army and Coast Guard forces on building and promoting grassroots democracy; Party committees and commanders of agencies and units in the entire Region Command have regularly paid attention to and strengthened leadership and direction, improving the quality and effectiveness of implementing the regulations. The Region Command has issued many documents to maximize the ownership of all soldiers in all aspects of work and activities, building units with a democratic, open, united and highly unified atmosphere, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Tran Van Xuan acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results of implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in all aspects of work of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command.
In the coming time, he requested that agencies and units in the entire Coast Guard Region 4 Command need to strengthen the work of thoroughly disseminating and educating tasks, building determination for officers and soldiers, focusing on grasping and managing the ideological situation, law enforcement and discipline of the troops. Build solidarity and unity, promote the pioneering and exemplary role of Party committee members and commanders at all levels in leading and directing the good implementation of grassroots democracy regulations; ensure the regimes and standards for troops according to regulations, especially the care and concern for soldiers with families in difficult circumstances to contribute to stabilizing and improving their lives.
