The Technical Assurance Center (TAC), Naval Region 2 was established on the basis of merging the following units: Base 696, Warehouse 862 and Warehouse 710. Right from the first days of its establishment, the Party Committee, the Command of the Center and the Party Committees and Commands of the agencies and units have always upheld the spirit of responsibility, proactively overcome all difficulties, united and led the unit to successfully and excellently complete all assigned tasks. The Center has well implemented the criteria for building "Regular, exemplary ships", "Regular, exemplary, safe warehouses and stations"...

The Technical Command Center strictly maintains the on-duty system and combat readiness, avoiding being passive or surprised in any situation; participating and coordinating to successfully complete annual training and exercises. The unit ensures adequate, timely quantity, quality and synchronization of technical equipment and supplies for the missions. The Center is always the leading flag in research activities on initiatives, inventions and technical improvements in Naval Region 2.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Do Hong Duyen, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, praised and congratulated the achievements that the Center for Strategic and Economic Studies has achieved in recent years.
