Complete investment procedures for Chu Lai Airport in 6 months
According to the conclusion, the Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to urgently and proactively implement the investment and exploitation of Chu Lai Airport according to its authority.
Take the lead in coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Ministry of Finance to review and resolve the handover of land area for socio-economic development to Quang Nam province in February 2025.

In addition, calling for investment in exploiting Chu Lai Airport according to the planning and orientation of forming an economic ecosystem and airport urban area, striving to complete investment procedures in the first 6 months of 2025 and complete the construction of the airport within 2 years.
The Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Transport to urgently direct the completion of the Chu Lai Airport Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, and approve it according to its authority in the second quarter of 2025.
The Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of National Defense and relevant ministries and agencies closely coordinate and support Quang Nam province in the implementation process.
The Prime Minister also assigned Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to directly direct and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the process of investing and exploiting Chu Lai Airport.
Regarding investment in Cua Lo waterway and Chu Lai container logistics center, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Transport to urgently direct the establishment and approval of the detailed planning of land and seaport waters for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, within the first quarter of 2025.
Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee closely coordinated with the Ministry of Transport in the process of planning and implementing project investment preparation work at the same time as the process of preparing and approving the Detailed Plan for the development of land and seaport waters for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 to speed up the implementation progress.
'Just work, no back talk'
In addition, the Prime Minister requested Quang Nam province to proactively call for investment in Cua Lo waterway and Chu Lai container logistics center according to planning and legal regulations; strive to complete the project before June 2027.
Regarding the issue of investment in upgrading and renovating National Highways 14D and 14B, the Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Finance to urgently report to the Government on the plan to allocate increased revenue and save central budget expenditures in 2024 in February 2025 to report to competent authorities, including investment projects to upgrade and expand National Highways 14D and 14B.
