Consultation and feedback workshop on adjusting the planning for conservation and promotion of the value of Hung Temple Historical Relic Site until 2040

On February 13, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations held a consultation and feedback workshop on adjusting the planning for preserving and promoting the value of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site until 2040.

Overview of the workshop

The Hung Temple historical relic site was recognized as a special national historical relic site in Decision No. 1272/QD-TTg dated August 12, 2009 of the Prime Minister. The Hung Temple historical relic site is a symbol of culture, spiritual history and the spirit of great solidarity of the Vietnamese people; especially the place to preserve and practice the worship of Hung Kings - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO in 2012.

The Hung Temple Historical Relic Site has always received attention from the Party, investment from the State and from all levels and sectors from central to local levels. From 1994 to present, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site has gone through many stages of planning and implementation, opening up many important conditions and advantages, contributing to the construction of the Relic Site with increasingly large scale, meeting the aspirations of the people of the whole country.

However, in addition to new favorable conditions, the process of building and developing the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site still faces some difficulties and challenges that need attention. In particular, adjusting the planning for preserving and promoting the value of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site until 2040 is an important and necessary task.

At the workshop, delegates, experts and scientists focused on discussing, consulting and criticizing a number of key issues such as: Giving opinions and comments on the name, layout, the need to establish the task of adjusting the planning and the legal basis and research methods for adjusting the planning; assessing the suitability of the planning adjustment task with the Phu Tho Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035; commenting and evaluating the results of the implementation of the Planning for the conservation and promotion of the value of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site until 2025 according to Decision No. 552/QD-TTg dated April 21, 2017 of the Prime Minister; consulting and proposing directions for restoration, rehabilitation and promotion of the value of the Relic Site; Organizing architectural space, landscape and constructing new works...

The opinions of delegates, experts and scientists will be fully, accurately, objectively and honestly synthesized by the Organizing Committee and a report will be prepared and sent to competent authorities for research, consideration and direction of implementation, and completion of the planning adjustment task before the province submits it to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
