On the morning of December 22, Lao Cai province held an inauguration ceremony for the reconstruction project of three residential areas: Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune (Bao Yen district) - in person; Kho Vang village and Nam Tong village (Bac Ha district) - online. After more than 3 months of construction, 90 houses in 3 resettlement areas have been completed and handed over, welcoming people to live. Along with that, public works and auxiliary items have also been completed and put into use. Cutting the ribbon and speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and Government, thanked the companionship of the Party Committee, authorities, people of Lao Cai province and sponsors for completing the task of building 3 resettlement areas according to the assigned plan.

According to the Prime Minister, the completion of 90 houses before the Lunar New Year has demonstrated the spirit of mutual love and support of the community, philanthropists and sponsors. The Prime Minister affirmed that the completion of 3 resettlement areas and the stabilization of people's lives after natural disasters is a clear demonstration of the spirit of great national unity, thereby turning the impossible into possible, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State. Immediately after the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Lao Cai province to continue to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, promote production and business in 3 resettlement areas so that people have more income, research and design, construct lakes and dams in Lang Nu village, create ecological landscapes, and develop aquaculture in the locality.

Preparing to end the old year, start the new year, and welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wished the people in the three resettlement areas a warm, peaceful, healthy and happy Tet. The three villages of Lang Nu, Nam Tong and Kho Vang will soon become "Model villages" - "happy villages", clean, beautiful, green, civilized, modern, with a prosperous life in terms of material, spiritual, health, education, culture, etc. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, a representative of the Vietnamese Heart Fund on behalf of the sponsors said that the simultaneous commencement and completion of construction is a testament to the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the face of difficulties and hardships of the community, government and social organizations. On behalf of the leaders of Lao Cai province, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Party, State, Government, organizations, individuals and social communities who have accompanied and helped Lao Cai province overcome the most difficult times. According to Mr. Phong, in parallel with stabilizing housing for people after natural disasters, restoring production and ensuring long-term and stable livelihoods for the people is one of the important tasks of the province in the coming time.
