The final meters of asphalt concrete layer at the North-South expressway project, Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section, have been deployed by contractors, ensuring the opening time.
The Ministry of Construction has just sent a report to the Government Office listing five projects expected to be inaugurated and opened to traffic on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
The 5 projects include: The North-South Expressway Project, Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section, invested by Thang Long Project Management Board. The project, which is over 35km long and passes through Ha Tinh province, will be technically opened to traffic on April 19 and put into operation on the main route on April 28.
The North-South Expressway project, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section, is invested by Thang Long Project Management Board. The project, which is over 54km long and passes through Ha Tinh province, will be technically opened to traffic on April 19 and the main route will be put into operation on April 28.
The North-South expressway project, Bung - Van Ninh section through Quang Binh province, is invested by Project Management Board 6. The project, which is nearly 49km long, will be technically opened to traffic on April 19 and the main route will be put into operation on April 28.
The North-South Expressway project, Van Phong - Nha Trang section, is invested by Project Management Board 7. The project is over 83km long through Khanh Hoa province and will be inaugurated and put into use about 70km on April 19.
In addition to the four component projects on the North-South Eastern Expressway in the 2021-2025 period, the Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway project invested by the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) will have more than 18km of technical traffic opened on April 18 before putting the main route into operation on April 28.
In addition to the 5 expressway projects mentioned above, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the Ministry of Construction will carry out the jointing of the main Rach Mieu bridge at the location of the 2 towers P19 and P20. This is a project invested by the My Thuan Project Management Board.
