Approval of Tan Thanh 110kV transformer station project

(BDO) The Provincial People's Committee has just approved the investment project of the 110kV Tan Thanh transformer station and NR connecting to the 110kV Tan Thanh station, Bac Tan Uyen district. The project is invested by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC). The total land area for the construction of the 110kV Tan Thanh transformer station and the road to the station is 4,098m², with a designed capacity of 2x63MVA and a voltage level of 110/22kV.

Binh Duong electricity industry will invest in many power projects to meet the electricity demand for socio-economic development in the province.

The project is expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2027, with a total investment of about 219 billion VND. The Tan Thanh 110kV transformer station project will contribute to increasing the transmission of electricity to supply electricity in Bac Tan Uyen district and neighboring areas to serve local socio-economic development.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, and project investors to strictly comply with relevant legal regulations during the construction and operation of the project; must ensure proper and full implementation of responsibilities according to the provisions of law on investment, land, environment, construction, fire prevention and fighting, power grid safety corridors, environmental protection, water resources and other relevant legal regulations.
