Weather April 6: Northern region beware of extreme weather

The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that today and tonight, April 6, the mountainous areas of the North will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, some places over 60mm.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornado, lightning, hail reached level 1.

Cloudy with rain, showers and thunderstorms. Light wind. Cold mornings and nights.

Northwest

Northeast

Cloudy with rain, showers and thunderstorms. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts. Cold mornings and nights.

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 18 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 22-25 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possible tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts. Cold early morning and night.

Highest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

North cloudy, some rain; South cloudy, sunny during the day, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Northeast to East wind level 2-3.

Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, sunny during the day, hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Northeast to East wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 31-34, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, sunny during the day, some places are hot, especially in the East; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night in some places. Northeast to East wind level 2-3.
