Major General Dang Hong Duc appointed Deputy Minister of Public Security

(Dan Tri) - Major General Dang Hong Duc, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security, has just been appointed Deputy Minister of Public Security. Thus, the Ministry of Public Security now has 7 Deputy Ministers.

On January 3, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce and present the Prime Minister's decision appointing Major General Dang Hong Duc, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, to the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.

General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the appointment decision for Major General Dang Hong Duc continues to affirm the special care of the Party, State and people for the building of the People's Public Security force, and is a recognition of the merits and contributions of the People's Public Security force and the Major General himself in the cause of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that in every working position, regardless of the circumstances, Major General Dang Hong Duc always upholds the sense of responsibility, promotes the exemplary role of a leader and commander, and excellently completes the assigned duties and tasks.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Minister of Public Security expressed his honor and affirmed that he will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party, State, and the Minister's instructions.

Major General Dang Hong Duc was born in 1977, in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province.

During his career, Major General Dang Hong Duc held the positions of Director of Yen Bai Provincial Police and Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Ministry of Public Security currently has Minister General Luong Tam Quang and 7 Deputy Ministers, including: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long; Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen; Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam and Major General Dang Hong Duc.
